Are you in
need of a fierce new pop song to put you in a good mood? Then look no further,
because drag queen superstar Adore Delano has released a new video! A few days ago, the Rupaul´s Drag Race fan-favorite released the smoking hot video for her
newest single ´Dynamite’. The single will appear on the drag singer’s upcoming sophomore album ‘After Party’, which
will be released on March 11.
‘After
Party’ is the follow-up to her debut album ‘Till Death Do Us Party’, which was released on June 3, 2014
after making it to the top 3 of Rupaul’s Drag Race. The album received generally positive reviews, and so a second album couldn’t stay
far behind! On and off the show, Delano was repeatedly praised for her charming
character and for having the ‘X-factor’. But besides being an absolutely
wonderful person, another thing that has attracted thousands of fans from all
over the world is her undeniable talent. Her strong vocals put her in a
different league than a lot of her drag race sisters. We first became aware of
her amazing singing voice when she (as Danny Noriega) auditioned for season 7
of American Idol in 2008, making it to the semi-finals. After that, she has continued to wow us!
One thing
becomes very clear right after pressing play: Adore Delano is looking
‘Dynamite’! In the video, the femme fatale is seen wearing a vampy outfit
combined with a dark smokey eye, a bright red lip and a smoldering look in her
eyes. The video takes place in a sweaty red-lighted nightclub, where she
seduces both the camera and her handsome lover. Dynamite surpasses the average
drag song and video and manages to really grab your attention. Where her previous songs sometimes had a
child-like vibe to them, Dynamite feels more mature and shows a more grown up
side of Adore Delano. All we can say after watching the video is: we can’t wait
for the new album!
Along with
the new single, two more songs have been released. Fans who pre-order the new
album on iTunes receive immediate access to club banger ‘Foreign Lover’ and the
more honest and emotional ‘I Can’t Love You’. If you were lucky enough to have been at a Adore show in the past couple of months, you may have already seen and heard her
perform the latter live. If you haven’t gotten a chance to see her yet, you may not have to wait long! The
next few days she’s performing in four different cities in the UK that form the After
Party Club Tour, where people will be presented with the new album and what
without a doubt will be a series of incredible performances. Tonight the tour
kicks off at Holy Trannity in London. After that, Adore has been confirmed to
be part of the Rupaul’s Drag Race: Battle Of The Seasons tour that also
features fellow drag racers such as Sharon Needles, Courtney Act, Jinkx
Monsoon, Violet Chachki and many others. She will now also replace Willam on
the European leg of the tour.
