Alaska Thunderfuck 5000 has done it again! The popular Drag Race alumni shows off her ANUS in a
trippy new video. No, not thát anus, we’re talking about…. Oh well, you
probably know exáctly what we’re talking about, because how could you possible
have missed the news? The season 5 fan-favorite finally released the video for the title
track of her album ANUS
last week! It’s been almost a year since her amazing debut came out, but that’s
not stopping the queen from creating more and more visually stunning pieces of art for the songs on that record. Right when the album
was released, its title track became an instant favorite amongst fans. Therefore it was
only a matter of time before a video would be released. And one thing is for
sure; the video was worth the wait!
Many people
have referred to Alaska and her video as a 'drag queen Lady Gaga’. It’s a comparison
that we all completely understand, but at the same time we need to make one thing very clear: the only thing Alaska Thunderfuck is a ‘drag queen version’ of, is
herself! For a while, people seemed to fear she’d get overshadowed by the
popularity and success of her fellow drag racer and ex-lover Sharon Needles, but she quickly raised above that and definitely became her own person. Ever since the star
made it to the top 3 of season 5 of Rupaul’s Drag Race, Alaska managed to build
up a resumé that is rather impressive and made quite a name for herself. Even though she
ended up losing to Jinkx Monsoon on her season, she soon became one of the
most popular drag queens to have ever starred on that show and even beyond Drag Race. And her latest video shows us why;
‘Anus’ takes you on an acid trip that’s you’re not likely to forget anytime soon.

The video
for ANUS was directed by Sasa Numic and features cameos by other popular and well-known drag queens such as BibleGirl (who looks stunning), season 3 winner Raja Gemini, and Pittsburgh queens Amy
Vodkahaus and Lola LeCroix. In the beginning of the video we see Alaska with her background dancers in a Till The World Ends-esque choreography, in an outfit and haircut (she doesn't wear wigs) that's typical Alaska. Later on she somehow ends up channelling Judy Garland and manages to look amazing even without the big messy hair. Eventually we even get to see a pregnant Alaska, before she gives birth to.... What is it that she gives birth to, exactly?! Right before the video ends she serves up some 'alien-troll-doll' realness. If that wasn't a thing yet, then it is now!
In the middle of all this over-the-top alien
extravaganza you’d probably expect a science fiction-like electro-fest, but quite
the opposite is true! The track itself is a super fun and poppy club-banger that will
make it impossible for you to sit still and not dance. “Drop it down low, let
me feel it in your pussyhole” she sings over a synth-heavy tune. Well Alaska,
if you insist… The song is sure to become a huge hit within the LGBTQ+ community and we can't even begin to imagine how much fun it would be hearing this song live. We could continue to talk about the song and video for much longer, but we don't want to give too much of it away before you've actually seen it, so our advice is to just watch the video and experience it for yourself!
