AUDIOPHELLE: Seafoal

There's something about Seafoal that you just can't help but fall for.

Their first EP Lucid Living (2014) has a softer, acoustic feel which was the perfect antidote to the stress of my recent exams. The light vocals and enchanting guitars of Lucid Living is worlds away from poppy single Van Gogh and latest release Chess.

Chess is an anthem for the frustrated and fucked over. The angst of the lyrics of Chess are so relatable and empowering. Rumbling guitars and powerful drums characterize the song and Seafoal's voice takes on a new grungy character so brilliantly.  Seafoal has a seamless ability to switch between genres while maintaining an indie and alternative feel.

I'm calling it now, Seafoal is the next big thing.

Catch them on their upcoming tour of the UK with support from Anavae!
