When Ailurophelle was created in 2014 by our founder, Madeleine Crossan, it was intended to be a publication catering to queer art. Over the past five years, as you may know, the world kinda got a lot scarier. We went dark to take time to ourselves, to pursue various degrees, to enter the work force, etcetera etcetera. While our site was never really a large one, it feels wrong to stay in silence. The content we want to post here will not have any purpose other than to ease our buzzing minds and to potentially ease the minds of others like us. We pride ourselves on stating opinions as opinions and facts as facts. We advocate and support all marginalized people and keep an open heart towards growth, criticism, and education. In hindsight, we needed Ailurophelle this whole time. We hope you'll join us in this new decade, with our new prospective, but with the love and passion we always had.
