Seattle Drag is, in my opinion, some of the best in the world. It's representation on 'RuPaul's Drag Race' is pretty impressive anyway, but there is so much more to not only the drag, but the city of Seattle. If you are looking to find out more about both through a hilarious web series, you're in the right place.
Capitol Hill is a web series created by Wes Hurley. The main storyline is based around a young, beautiful girl names Roses Smell, who leaves her home in Portland for the bright lights and general civilisation of Seattle. However, not being adapted to Seattle, she immediately encounters difficulties. Luckily, she has her newest friend, Tanya to help her along with general daily activities like getting a job, making friends and getting laid.
If you're a fan of drag race, you're in luck. The casting in Capitol Hill is absolutely fantastic, and features drag race stars as well as other fabulous actors.
The friendly narrator is played by BenDeLaCreme, who introduces each episode to remind you what happened on the last one. She's not always right, but it is hard to keep up. The evil, stunning news reporter Dottie Pearl is played by Robbie Turner. Dottie is a frenemy of Roses, attempting to befriend her in order to get out of her own trouble. This doesn't really work, but she tries regardless.

In series 2, another incredible actor joined the Capitol Hill cast. Jinkx Monsoon plays Celeste, the mayor's estranged wife who enjoys nothing more than Russian ballet (or at least the dancers). When Celeste meets Roses, everything goes downhill from there, for a few people.
The other cast members are all incredible actors too. Waxie Moon plays the protagonist, Roses Smell, a lost girl from Portland who just wants to make it big on TV. Her best friend Tanya is played by Alexandra Tavares, and Tanya's main goal is to make sure that Roses doesn't end up dying in Seattle. Along with that, she has to try and ignore her manager, George (played by Mark Siano) and his sexist comments.

Other actors in Capitol Hill include The Mayor (Jonathan Crimeni), Michelle, Roses' true love (Jewcy That) and Mother Teresha, a hater of 'the gays' (Nettie Anne Snickle). If you're into your insanely attractive men, RuPaul's Drag Race pit crew member Jason Carter and porn star Colby Keller appear in series 2 to...drive the story along.
Capitol Hill has been gaining a lot of popularity since the second series has been released, with reviews coming in from various drag and drama fans alike.
"Capitol Hill is a 'CAPITAL' production. You'll laugh, you'll (possibly) cry, it's a fun time for all the family. Well, the older family."
It has also recently been nominated for a OUTWebfest award, and is being broadcast on OutTV in 13 countries including The Netherlands.
