Today’s pick
for Audiophelle is one that might just be a bit different from our previous posts, but this one’s just too good not to share. Bullet
Height are a new Berlin-based electronic-rock duo
consisting of Ex-Pure Reason Revolution leader Jon Courtney and the absolutely
beautiful Sammi Doll, who you might already know from Chris Corner’s musical project
IAMX. So far, they have only released one song together; namely the very cool track ‘Bastion’.
Bullet Height started working together after meeting “through producer Tom Bellamy
at a dirty rock bar in Berlin on Halloween”. They have since been signed to the well-known German and independent record label Superball Music, with a full album planned for
the end of the year. A few months ago they released their incredibly addictive first single 'Bastion', which definitely leaves us excited for what's yet to come. It's one of
those songs that only seem to be getting better with each listen. 'Bastion' is a
perfect example of when rock and electronic elements blend together perfectly, without losing its edge. The song is energetic, sharp, melodic, heavy and overall just really good.
For more on Bullet Height, check out their Official Website, and make sure to follow them on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. Their debut single “Bastion” is currently available digitally on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.
Check out the dynamic lyric video for their track 'Bastion', directed by
Valquire Veljkovic, below. According to the band's social media, the official music video should be out soon.
